Built in 1865 in Miami County, this beautiful barn features hand-hewn beams and the timeless character of 19th-century craftsmanship. Carefully dismantled and reassembled through a traditional Amish barn raising, it now stands on our site as a tribute to the barnstorming era—when barns like this dotted the countryside and served as backdrops for early aviation adventures. The barn offers electricity and lighting (no heating or cooling) and is a popular choice for graduation parties, family gatherings, small weddings, and rustic celebrations. Rental includes access to the nearby picnic shelter with restrooms and ample parking for guests.

The adjacent picnic shelter is automatically included with the barn rental but may also be rented on its own. It features restrooms, a serving counter with a built-in sink and running water, electricity, and seating at white picnic tables for 80–100 guests. Overlooking both the main runway and the RC runway, the shelter provides a front-row view of aviation in motion—on a summer evening, you might see an airplane, RC aircraft, or powered paramotor soaring across the sky. Complete in January 2026, the Robinson Wing of the Education Center offers a modern, versatile setting for events, conferences, and celebrations of all kinds. Its centerpiece, Foundations Hall, features soaring ceilings, neutral décor, and nearly 4,000 square feet of open space—accommodating over 200 guests in lecture-style seating or up to 160 at round tables. Designed with flexibility in mind, the hall is ideal for corporate meetings, banquets, receptions, and special gatherings.

Six adjoining classrooms add an additional 2,700 square feet of space and are fully equipped with sound and projection capabilities connected to the main hall, making them perfect for breakout sessions or overflow seating. A catering kitchen—featuring refrigeration, freezer space, warming ovens, and a serving counter into Foundations Hall—is available for an additional charge.

Guests will also enjoy the beautiful outdoor lighted pavilion, perfect for social gatherings or extending events into the open air. The building is fully handicapped accessible from the parking area, ensuring convenience for all attendees.
