Now that we have moved the Museum to its new digs at Historic Waco Field and we are now officially open for the season, it is time to address the issue of providing museum guides to make the visit to the Museum all that it can be.

Fortunately, we have a cadre of experienced knowledgeable guides who can tell the WACO story very well -- but not enough of them.  Also, everything on display is in a new location and there is an added dimension.  We have replica and real working aircraft above and on the museum floor.  Since everybody will be going through a re-training session or two, now is a good time to come aboard and learn the ropes.

We are accepting volunteer guides who can give us one four (or two two) hour shifts a month.  We are open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 5 pm, with other hours on other days for special events and tours.

In addition to Museum Guides, we need help in the gift shop, help with our new data entry system and as always, work on the buildings and grounds.   Our collections need work in cataloging and conservation as you can see, there is something for everyone, no matter what your skill level or area of interest.  To find out more about the opportunities, just send us an e-mail at: info@wacoairmuseum.org.
